It was wonderful to have an opportunity to showcase my work for the Skating Clubs in the surrounding communities. In addition to painting skates with a club logo, using the skates as a "canvas" has given me a unique artistic venue. Creating a pair of skates, with a design according to personal wishes, is a request I love to fill. Of most delight, I find in painting a pair of personal childhood skates that then become a cherished memory. It's all in the detail!
